Xeomin

Xeomin is a prescription neurotoxin treatment, similar to Botox, that uses botulinum toxin type A to temporarily reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing targeted facial muscles.

Xeomin is often referred to as a “naked” neurotoxin because it does not contain any accessory proteins, which some believe may result in a lower risk of developing resistance over time.

Administered through small injections, Xeomin works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles, preventing them from contracting and thus smoothing out dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. The procedure is quick, typically taking about 10 to 15 minutes, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Results from Xeomin injections usually become visible within a few days and can last for three to six months, depending on the individual and the treated area. Xeomin is suitable for most adults seeking a non-surgical solution to achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
